USC Statement on Research
As a research university, USC supports research about and using DNS, including longitudinal analysis, privacy analysis, experimental evaluation of software and protocols, and working with organizations like DNS-OARC.
The primary goal of B Root is to provide a stable operational service to the Internet community. Research activities are secondary to this goal and will respect principles of ethical research embodied in the Menlo Report.
